Worst customer service experience-Carpet delivery delay several days-no call/no-email/no-notice by sales May/June 2011; carpet arrived 6 days late. 1st installer: horrific contractor assigned by Abbey Mount Vernon WA sales: untimely, unprofessional, disinterested, disrespectful, incompetent: failed to start or complete project; left jobsite for several hours twice; left unguarded tack+strips resulting in injury to 2 tenants (no response or concern by Abbey sales) before walking off unfinished job @ 10 p.m. after working noisly/rudely+intermittently 4 hours over 10 hour day. Called Abbey to alert of these problems; Steve/Owner too busy to visit site even after explanation as above and advising of puncture injury to tenant. Did assign very good 2nd installer who had to rehab 1st's work but did complete install with no complaints. Abbey Mt Vernon: No contact from Abbey after phone requests, no itemized billing per customer request, no contact from sales team to explain delays, investigate problematic installer, or complete commitment to visit jobsite to ensure satisfactory install. No apology for inconvenience or injury; had our full payment up front so apparently couldn't care less.

I paid for 65 mosaic tiles,at 18.00/ tiles, and only 47 tiles were received. Resulting in $324 in goods that were paid for , but not received. I paid for 50 bullnose tiles, at 5.75/tile, where only 30 tiles were received. Resulting in $69 in goods that were paid for , but not received. I paid for the the installation 22 (12X12) tiles that were not installed, at $7/tile. Resulting in $154 in services that were paid for , but not received. I paid for the the installation 18 (Mosaic) tiles that were not installed, at $7/tile. Resulting in $128 in services that were paid for , but not received. I paid for 40.67 Square yards of Carpet Remnant, with padding and installation at 29.00/Square yard, but not received. Resulting in $1179.43 in goods and services that were paid for , but not received. I paid for 40.67 Square yards of Sleepy Hollow Russet tint carpety, with padding and installation at 39.00/Square yard, but not received. Resulting in $1623.55 in goods and services that were paid for , but not received. I paid for 40.67 Square yards of Cushion 1/2 6lb Rebond, at 1.00/Square yard, but not received. Resulting in $40.67 in goods that were paid for , but not received. I paid for 5 tubes of Laticrete Caulk, at 7.48/tube, where only 1 tube was received. Resulting in $29.92 in goods that were paid for , but not received. The total amount of goods and services that were paid for, and not received, to Abbey Carpet of Harrisburg, Owned by Steve Fisher, is $3546.57. The total amount of funds withheld from final payment to Abbey Carpet of Harrisburg, Owned by Steve Fisher, is $500.00. The net amount of goods and services outstanding that was paid for and never recieved is $3046.57 Owner Steve Fisher is stating his overage are dur to breakage, however has admitted that the overcharged inventory is sitting in his warehouse.
