American Girl Stores Locations Locator Map and Directory

American Girl is a popular American brand of dolls in America manufactured by Pleasant Company, a subsidiary of Mattel. The American Girl brand has been sold since 1986. Although the dolls were once available only by mail order, today they are also sold at ten American Girl stores located in major metropolitan areas throughout the country. This maps gives the location, contact details, background, and more of each of these stores.

American Girl dolls portray nine and ten-year-old girls of various ethnic backgrounds from different points in American history. Each is sold with an accompanying educational book that tells a story of American life at the time of the doll's life from her viewpoint. Topics covered include slavery, child abuse, poverty, racism, war, and more. Although Pleasant Company initially offered only three dolls (Molly, Kirsten, and Samantha), today they offer more than 10, including the newly released Marie Grace and Cecile, available in stores starting late 2011.
