Weight watchers is a dieting and weight loss company. Their weight loss plan (known as Weight Watchers Points Plus) works by asking overweight clients to compute the point values (i.e. caloric values) of their food as the eat, which are constrained by an upper limit which they're not to exceed. Typically, clients are asked to maintain a calorie deficit of 1,000 below what they're used to, distinguishing the plan from other diets like Atkins and South Beach in that there are no restricted types of food (e.g. carbs). Clients can track their points by either logging into the Weight Watchers website ("etools) or by writing them down, and then periodically meeting with their counselor for weigh-ins to make sure everything's going to plan.
