Description:  AT&T Field, Chattanooga, Tennessee, is the home of the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Twins' farm club in the Class AA Southern League, and the Tennessee Temple University Crusaders. In November 1998, the Lookouts announced they would build a privately funded downtown stadium IF they could pre-sell 1,800 season tickets and 10 luxury boxes. Those conditions met in January 1999, they broke ground in March and christened the ballpark April 10, 2000, with a 5-4 win over the Birmingham Barons - an ironic opponent, since the Lookouts WERE the Birmingham Athletics until 1976. Chattanooga hadn't been without professional baseball, which first came to town in 1885 and hasn't gone by anything but Lookouts since 1897. Engel Stadium - which pinch-hit for Brooklyn's Ebetts Field in the Jackie Robinson biopic '42' - hosted Lookouts for 60 years. The Reds were their parent club for 22 seasons, after the Nashville Sounds gave up that partnership to go AAA. AT&T hosted the 2014 SL All-Star Game.
