| | Description: Dont just see the mountains... EXPLORE THEM! - Appalachian ATV Adventures conducts National Forest Tours in Western North Carolinas Nantahala National Forest and N. Georgias Chattahoochee National Forest for up to 8 riders ages 16 and older. Our 5-hour morning, afternoon, and evening events include comfortable transportation from Highlands, North Carolina to and from the trails. Included in the ticket price is a picnic lunch, orientation and safety training, and the opportunity to explore the forest with knowledgeable guides on a fun-to-ride Polaris Magnum 325 4-wheeler equipped with automatic transmission. Helmets and gloves are provided, but bring some raingear because we ride in all kinds of beautiful mountain weather. New for 2004, try the all-day Combo Adventures with a half-day of rafting, tubing, or flatwater paddling added to the half-day ATV Adventure. Theres also an all-day ATV Challenge Course for small groups and business groups that can include team building initiative games and professional facilitating or just all day riding excitement. |
