Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell is a Food Network show that premiered in June of 2012. The premise of Chef Wante is that when restaurants are in need of a new executive chef - arguably the most important employee who determines everything from menu to staff to decor - they bring in celebrity chef Anne Burrell to conduct a job search. In each episode, Anne brings in four candidates to undergo strenuous kitchen tests that measure everything from their cooking skills to their business savvy. The four chefs are whittled down to two based on how they fare, resulting in the final showdown: which chef can run the most successful (i.e. profitable and delectable) dinner service? With Anne's expert consultation, the owners of the restaurant decide which candidate deserves to become their next executive chef.

As is typical of Food Network shows, Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell features some of the top restaurants from the restaurateurs in America.
