Hotel Impossible is a television show that premiered on the Travel Channel in the spring of 2012. Hotel Impossible is hosted by Anthony Melchiorri, a service industry expect who's earned a reputation as a hotel "fixer" who can revamp hotels that need to sell more rooms, earn better reviews, and make more profit. Each Hotel Impossible episode features a hotel that's not living up to its reputation or potential. The owners bring in Melchiorri, who secretly surveys the property to diagnose its problems. After briefing the owners, Melchiorri meets with the entire staff - ranging from maids to managers - to determine an operation issues. Sometimes there are staff problems, while other times the main problems lie in the hotel itself, e.g. it has an outdated decor that needs to be remodeled and redecorated. Once Melchiorri has diagnosed the problem, the owners, who are often at risk of losing their hotel should the problems persist, sign off on any recommended changes and watch as their properties are transformed before their very eyes.
