I ENJOYED the 3rd weekend of July at Ponderosa !!!!!! They offer the yearly SHOWS over this weekend. Sunday was bigger and better than Saturday. With thousands of people there. It is a pitty that only 1% were naked. I will be back the 3rd weekend of July 2013. ((I also found the ladies working at the office to be very RUDE and NON-INTERESTED in their jobs. The one who answers the phone, is probably Asian and cannot speak one word English)). Also they do not offer any GPS-directions to the place. I eventually figured out : It is 60 miles south of Chicago. And 100 miles north of Indianapolis. Keep on the I 65 north highway. Take Exit 230, called Demotte/Roselawn. (The GPS will recognise this street as West "Front street"). Keep 2 miles on this street. Pass the First Baptist Church and a railway line. Turn right immediately then. And cross another rail line. A huge sign will then show the name PONDEROSA. Just half mile with this road and you will find the nudist club on the left. But I am a nudist and I ENJOYED my day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ponderosa Sun Club

After driving over two hours to check this place out, was VERY disappointed by the host and hostess of this resort. They were ;VERY RUDE, UNPLEASANT. They acted like we interuppted their day. Will never go back there again. Will keep going to the few other nudist resorts we normally go to. Don't need to be treated that way.

The two women in the office were VERY RUDE. I will NOT recommend this place. It is not a friendly place at all. I want to give a minus star, but I HAVE to put a star so you can review my opinion.

Well I mean if phi nude is underground like the ninja turtles that would be the only way I'd find it. If anyone has any info about it contact me. The Nudist colinie on 13th and broad next to eye encounters and dunkin dounuts.

...past few decades among nudists, mainly due to its negative connotations among non-nudists, it's inherent connection with imperialism (i.e. colonies), and the fact that the term isn't used by European naturists.

If living in a nude colony represents the extreme of the naturist lifestyle, and simply visiting the occasional clothing-optional beach represents the other extreme, then modern naturist resorts, naturist parks, and naturist camps fall somewhere in the middle. The inhabitants of these sites tend to be temporary visitors (e.g. vacationers or day visitors), and live in non-nude communities on a permanent basis (although they may practice nudism in their own home). Some nudist resorts, camps, and parks require that visitors belong to the INF (International Naturist Federation) and have strict child protection regulations. This is not always the case, however, and many of the nude resorts and camps on this map will allow any sort of visitor or family. At nudist resorts and camps, all activities are either clothing-optional or nudity required, including swimming, tennis, and pretty much everything other than meals.
