Oktoberfest in America Locations Locator Map and Directory

Oktoberfest is a huge festival held each year in Munich, Germany during late September (and running to early October). Throughout the world other German ancestral groups, municipalities and businesses also celebrate Oktoberfest by holding a festival, albeit smaller, which includes many of the German traditional Oktoberfest foods, drink, and activity. Americans in particular hold many Oktoberfests throughout the United States, especially where there is a high concentration of people with German ancestry. Common activities at Oktoberfest celebrations include beer sampling, beer chugging, and general bonhomie.
