Wood Furnace Installation and Sale Locations Locator Map and Directory

This map shows businesses and contractors that sell and install wood furnaces (aka woodburning furnaces and wood boilers). Most wood furnaces are installed outdoors due to their large size, high heat required to operated, and potential to create fire hazards. They are connected to buildings via underground pipe. The heat they generate does not come directly from the burning wood itself, but rather from a water tank surrounding the metal combustion chamber where the wood is burned. The water in the tank boils, travels through the insulated pipes, and then is transferred to the buildings existing heating system and hot water supply.
