Nudist spots include nude beaches, nudist colonies, nudist resorts, and landed nudist clubs. Although the majority of nude beaches have free admission, other nude hangouts such as nudist resorts and nudist colonies may require an entrance fee, or have certain admission limitations with regard to age, sex, etc. Please use discretion when visiting these places. A bit of background: A nude beach (also called a naturist beach or an FKK recreation area) is a coastal hangout where visitors are expected to wear no clothing. Some nude beaches area clothing-optional, meaning that bathers and sunbathers may opt to keep their clothes if they so desire. As one of the most popular forms of public nudity, nude beaches have grown from a 1950s French fad into a worldwide phenomenon. Today, there are over 200,000 registered Naturists in America alone, and likely millions more throughout the world. Many naturists also belong to nudist clubs, living in nudist colonies, or visit nude resorts. |
